We continuously ensure the provision has a positive impact on the outcomes for all of our children/young people. The SEN policy, plans and procedures are monitored and reviewed by the SENDCo and Senior Leadership Team and SEND provision is monitored by the Governing Body.
We do this in a variety of ways, including:
- Robust evaluation of policy and practice
- Book scrutinies
- Lesson observations
- SENCo/SLT/Governor monitoring
- Learning walks
- Analysis of data
- Pupil Progress meetings
- Whole school audits of provision
- Staff meetings and briefings
- Discussions with parents and children
- Parent and Pupil questionnaires
- SENCO Network and Cluster Meetings
- Performance management
- Liaison with Local Authority SEN Team
